Categories of items Accepted 

♦ English riding attire- up to date (schooling or show) including boots. Tall boots (dress or field) MUST have zipper. 

♦ English and Western Saddles

♦ English and Western Tack

♦ Western boots and clothing- up to date (show or riding related casual)

♦ Horse blankets, Coolers, Sheets and Sport Boots, etc.

♦ Horse related books, DVDs, Gift Items

♦ Stable Accessories (such as halters, lead ropes, lunge lines, clippers, etc.)

Consignment Procedures 

Golden Horseshoe will accept items that meet our guidelines, and place items on consignment normally for a period of 1 year. A consignment contract must be completed and the consignor must be at least 16 to consign items (ID is required). The consignor must be the owner of the items they wish to consign. The contract specifies the details of the consignment program. Golden Horseshoe will pay the consignee an amount equal to 80% of the merchandise sale price of the consignment item after the sale of the item, as per contract. 

Golden Horseshoe tack shop has a $5.00 minimum price for items accepted on consignment.

Golden Horseshoe reserves the right to limit items brought in to 25 at one time.

Golden Horseshoe employees reserve the right to refuse any item they do not feel adheres to our consignment guidelines.

Consignment Item Guidelines

1.) Must be clean and reasonably free of hair, dirt, debris. No animal waste or stains.

2.) Must have all parts intact without any damaged or broken pieces. No rips or tears. 

3.) Must be safe to use for intended purpose. No unusable rusted or corroded parts. No dry rot, unsafe cracking or excessive wear.

4.) No Australian saddles, No saddles from Royal King, Silver Royal, King series, Double T, Tough 1, or saddles made with India leather.

5.) No undergarments or blue jeans.

6.) No containers of liquids, powders, supplements, or consumable products.
